Womongathering

Making Spirit Mandalas

We’re excited to be teaching again at Womongathering - an all woman’s festival in Pennsylvania.

How do you experience your wholeness and your connection to Spirit? Through guided imagery, movement, and song we will meet our whole, complete, and embodied Selves. We will then create our mandalas, tapping into our juiciness and discovering deeper connections to womanspirit.

When: June 9th – 12th

Where: Womongathering,www.womongathering.org

Women & Power IV Conference

Humanity is still relying on outdated and destructive modes of acquiring and sharing power. In this century, women must play a primary role in reimagining and redefining power in all of its contexts—not only for the sake of women, but also for the well-being of all people, all cultures, and the earth itself. Through keynote talks, on-stage interviews, and workshops, we explore the nature and necessity of feminine power. We also take a bold look at the obstacles that mute the feminine voice and compel us to sell our souls to assume powerful positions in our work and in the world.

Enjoy readings, performances, conversations, celebration, movement, music, and the chance to be supported on your own journey. The energy generated at the Women and Power conferences is contagious; it inspires us to thrive in our chosen field, whether we are mothers, businesswomen, professionals, teachers, leaders, or activists.

The feminine voice lives in all of us; we invite women—and men—from different backgrounds, professions, races, ages, and nations to join us.

When: September 9th –11th, 2005

Feminist Perspectives on Eating Disorders: Enduring Wisdoms, New Frontiers

Ritual and Revisioning Food

Women throughout the ages have used ritual to be present to themselves and their lives. Because disordered eating disconnects women from their spirit, ritual can be a highly effective therapeutic tool. In this workshop, participants learn how to employ ritual as a reinforcement to traditional counseling techniques, to work tangibly with intangible emotions and thoughts.

When: November 10-13, 2005
